U.S. Computer Corporation Announces Second
Web Site For Express Online Shopping Of 230,000 Computer
Products
LARGO, FL--March 31, 1999--U.S. Computer Corporation of
Largo, Florida, announced today the launch a second internet
shopping site http://www.uscomputer.net
.
This new site, U.S. Computer Express, features quick access
search and shopping with nearly 230,000 computer products. In
1997 U.S. Computer Corporation launched its original web site, http://www.uscomputer.net, which today
features 250,000 computer and related products and services.
Jon Anderson, V.P., notes ``the two web sites are intended to
complement each other''. ``The new site, uscomputer.net is
oriented to the web buyer who needs to locate and purchase
products quickly and easily with the option of immediate
electronic software delivery, yet have complete service, support
and resources available online from an established full service
computer reseller. Customers of the new Express site,
uscomputer.net are linked to U.S. Computer Corporation's
original site, uscomputer.net, for online interactive tutorials,
customer support, driver downloads, product help, y2k support,
international and U.S. sales, related special services and links
to web shopping worldwide.''
Of the approximately 230,000 computer products and services
offered at uscomputer.net, nearly one half are available for
electronic software delivery or ESD and may be downloaded
immediately eliminating freight charges and waiting periods for
product delivery. Mr. Anderson states ``Customers today want the
low price and immediate availability of software via electronic
delivery. ESD is fast, convenient, easy and the wave of the
future for both software publishers and end users.''.
Payment type for ESD software is major credit card. Payment
types for other purchases include major charge cards, checks,
wire, money order, eft, and purchase orders.
