and Security For Online Ordering
- You may elect to
shop using SSL encryption if you have Netscape 4 or
better or Internet Explorer 3.01 or better.
- Do you get a certificate
expired or certificate not valid message? You
may be using an older browser version which does not properly recognize our Security Certificate.
- Your credit card
number and expiration date combination are stored on our internet web
server in an encrypted format for 1 day or less before removal.
- Your card
information is further encrypted on our server, then removed daily to
certain USC computers which are not permanently connected to the internet.
- Your credit card
or bank number is then forwarded to the credit card processing company via
private lines or in a highly encrypted format.
- Paper copies of
your transaction are filed in a locked limited access area.
- When appropriate and when you click
checkout and we send your cart contents to the item provider all data is
transferred in a secure encrypted manner.

release customer information to 3rd parties other than as necessary for
credit and payment authentication, processing, collection, criminal
activity and fraud prevention and as required by government agency.

and E-Mail address are used internally and not released or resold to 3rd
parties other than as required by law or for payment processing and
collection as noted in 2 above.
- Your name only is
available to other customers who already know your name, phone
number or zip and who may want to verify that you are a USC customer. You
can remove your name
from this searchable list. No address or financial information appears on
this name only list.
